Taylor Swift is officially in her wife era: After nearly three years of dating, a proposal last summer, and months of pre-wedding fan theories surrounding the planning and details of the celebrity wedding of the decade, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married, a rep for the singer confirmed Friday.
A billboard outside New York City’s Madison Square Garden lit up Friday evening, July 3, with text reading “JUST&T MARRIED!” confirming that Swift and Kelce really had tied the knot inside the arena.
In a statement shared with media, Swift’s rep dished out all the salient whos, whats, and whens of the couple’s celebration. The short version: The couple both wore Dior couture by Jonathan Anderson, Jason Kelce was Travis’s best man and Austin Swift, Taylor’s brother, acted as her man of honor, and Adam Sandler—yes, you read that right—acted as officiant.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry,” read the statement.
“Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler,” it continued.
