Jennifer Aniston revealed an unexpected fear of hers that she overcame during an interview with her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, as they talked about his upcoming project, The Book of Possibility, in New York City on Wednesday night for 92NY. 

Jennifer was glowing in a black dress with spaghetti straps and an asymmetrical hemline, paired with nude heels and a diamond pendant necklace. She wore her blonde locks straight down, and opted for sparkling eyeshadow and a pink lip.  

Jim looked laid back in black jeans, a black tee and a green jacket, paired with green sneakers. 

The pair traded flirty banter at the beginning of the event before diving into Jim’s journey from working on Wall Street to making a name for himself in the wellness space.

Overcoming her fears

At the end of the interview, Jim flipped the script on Jennifer and began asking her questions, which the star was taken aback by. 

After Jim asked, “What’s one possibility you’re choosing today?”, she sweetly replied: “To overcome a very deep fear of public speaking,” a moment which shared insight into their close bond and revealed her willingness to push past her phobia for his sake.

The couple shared a sweet kiss and a hug at the end of the interview, before Jim led the audience in a guided meditation.

A loving relationship

Jennifer and Jim met through mutual friends and were first seen together in July 2025 while on vacation in Mallorca, Spain. Jim made a rare comment on his romance with Jennifer on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, sharing that their relationship was “going really well”.

“My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving,” he continued. “She uses words like ‘My love.'”

The 50-year-old added that her friends had welcomed him with open arms. “She has this group of best friends that are like family,” he said. “I feel incredibly blessed to be part and welcomed into that family, and I feel blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted.”

As for how they navigate tension in the relationship, Jim explained that they do “a lot of meditation” and “a lot of talk”.

“And, you know…in a honeymoon phase…your tools don’t have to be like big sledgehammers.”

Jim’s wellness work

Jim’s new project, The Book of Possibility, is a blend of “neuroscience, hypnotherapy, and spirituality in an accessible, grounded way,” per the synopsis. Jennifer shared with Elle that she admired his career path and the impact he had on people’s lives.

“Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does,” she explained. “He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people. He’s very special, very normal, and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity. It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to.”
