Clarkson’s Farm, the popular series following Jeremy Clarkson and his attempts to run his 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm, has gotten an exciting update from Prime Video regarding its upcoming sixth season.
The fifth season premiered earlier this year, during which the presenter revealed that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2025. He underwent treatment off-screen, and confirmed in June that he was in remission.
With the series continuing to be popular with viewers, the show has received an update from Tara Erer, Head of UK & Northern Europe Originals at Amazon MGM Studios. Speaking to RadioTimes, they confirmed that filming was under way.

“Obviously, the drought is killing the harvest, so you’re sort of again looking into how that affects a very real crisis,” explained Erer. “Yeah, real crisis all around, and the stories never end on the farm.”
Asked what makes Prime Video’s slate of British shows stand out in the UK compared to other broadcasters, Erer noted the success of the series since it premiered in 2021.
“I think we’ve been building,” Erer said. “And I think we’ve now had a slate that is very solid, and it is very much rooted in British culture on the unscripted side. You know, we have one of the biggest shows in the UK with Clarkson’s Farm.”
Speaking about Clarkson, the Prime Video boss added: “Everything he does, everything he explores, is very much about the farming community. It’s emotional. It’s funny. It’s sad. I think he’s created this world in which you just want to spend time with him.”

Meanwhile, Clarkson’s other Prime Video show, The Grand Tour, dropped the first episode of its reboot earlier this week. He originally presented with Richard Hammond and James May, but Thomas Holland, James Engelsman and Francis Bourgeois have now taken over.
The original hosts will make a cameo in the new season, with Bourgeois exclusively telling Digital Spy what it was like to meet Clarkson.
“It was amazing,” he said. “I thought back to the first time I watched Top Gear, and I was probably about eight, and it was one of the best moments of my childhood. I was just wetting myself.”
Clarkson’s Farm is streaming on Prime Video.
