The evening prior, the screen icon was photographed arm-in-arm with fellow French actor Vincent Cassel, who looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo and dark sunglasses. The pair appeared relaxed and cheerful as they made their way along the carpet surrounded by photographers and fellow guests.
Catherine was also joined by stars including Léa Seydoux and Cécile de France during the glamorous event, further cementing the evening as a celebration of French cinema royalty.

Catherine has appeared in some of the most influential films in cinema history, including The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Belle de Jour, Repulsion and Indochine, the latter earning her an Academy Award nomination.
