Iain Stirling is back roasting the internet alongside three celebrity guests in tomorrow night’s (5 October) episode of Iain Stirling’s Roast the Internet.
In the comedy series, Stirling alongside the guests take aim at their biggest online hate-watches, filled with jaw-dropping and hilarious clips, exclusive stand up performances from comedy’s biggest names and exciting up-and-comers, as well as cameos from iconic internet personalities.
On Monday night’s episode, Stirling is joined by Lucy Beaumont, Eddie Kadi and Will Best, the latter of which is currently on TV screens on Strictly Come Dancing and also has some serious news to get across about aliens…
In an exclusive clip shared with Radio Times, Best addressed the group and said: “I’ve actually got some big, big news. All right, aliens are real. And they are communicating with us right now. Now, I am talking, of course, about alien channeling. So basically, if you’re not familiar with alien channeling, then that obviously sucks for you because it either means that you haven’t been selected by interdimensional light beings as a worthy recipient of direct messages from the Galactic Council, or your algorithm is okay.”
Jokingly, he continued: “So, in a nutshell, alien channeling is when a medium – it could be anyone – it could be you, Ian, becomes a vessel for receiving the consciousness of an alien, who then imparts vital wisdom that is important to the actual future of humanity. Now I know what you’re all thinking. Ian hasn’t been a medium since the early ’90s. I’m sorry. Sorry, low-hanging fruit.”
You can watch the full clip above.
Will Best is currently starring on Strictly Come Dancing, and is in a pair with Dianne Buswell.
Will said of joining Strictly Come Dancing is “a dream come true”!
“My main feelings are a mixture of delirious excitement, and terror, and I think that’s healthy,” he said.
“It still feels surreal and I can’t quite picture myself on the show – it seems crazy that I’m going to be doing the thing that I’ve watched so many other people do for so long. And when I do imagine doing it, my knees go a bit wobbly.”
Iain Stirling’s Roast the Internet continues on Monday 5 October at 9pm on Comedy Central.
