007 First Light developer teases sequels with Patrick Gibson as 007

IO Interactive has teased that 007 First Light could be just the beginning for its take on James Bond, with one of the game’s directors praising Patrick Gibson’s performance as the iconic spy and hinting at more stories to come. Speaking about Dexter: Original Sin star Gibson’s turn as 007, Dominic Vega (missions and audio director on 007 First Light), said the actor has already made a striking impression in the role. “He has filled the shoes of James Bond spectacularly,” Vega told Radio Times. “Patrick’s confidence and his poise are very Bond-like, even just in his own day-to-day, but when he takes on the character, it’s something special and I’m really excited for people to see it.” Gibson’s casting has already prompted plenty of discussion among Bond fans, and Vega’s comments suggest the developer is feeling confident not only about this first outing, but also about the possibility of building something bigger around this version of the character.
