India Hicks confirmed the death of her mother, Lady Pamela Hicks, on Friday, with the designer penning a moving tribute to the cousin of the late Prince Philip. Alongside a black-and-white image of her late mother, India penned: “My mother died peacefully today. Whilst there is no tragedy in the death of a 97-year-old who has lived a full life I know grief will be unavoidable, lurking around waiting for me, but today I am simply grateful that she was my Mother. He was 75. The musician played with the band from 1970 to 1986, during the period when they were led by singer Lionel Richie and enjoyed huge hits including “Three Times a Lady”, “Easy” and “Sail On.” He was not a member of the group’s current line-up, which recently pulled out of the Donald Trump-backed Great American State Fair. LaPread’s death was announced on social media by his daughter, musician and film producer Soraya LaPread, who wrote that she shared the news with a “heavy heart.” He died in Auckland, New Zealand, where he had been living since the 1980s. Wearing a hi-vis jacket and a blue velvet hat, Lady Louise acted as a steward at the event, helping people to their assigned spots and making sure they remained behind the metal barriers. Lady Louise Windsor, the 22-year-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, is quietly working behind the scenes as an organizer at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. Held annually since 1943, the Royal Windsor Horse Show begins Thursday and hosts international competitors for dressage, show jumping, driving, and endurance riding on the private grounds of Windsor Castle. Lady Louise, who is studying English at St Andrew’s University in Scotland, has been helping ensure that the four-day show goes smoothly and has a good royal turnout.
