The Louisiana-born artist was among a number of high-profile people whom President Donald Trump pardoned last year. He had been sentenced to just under two years in prison on gun-related charges. During an appearance on the Open Thoughts podcast uploaded Tuesday, the 26-year-old rapper — whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden — revealed he has a heart condition and likely just “one or two” albums left in his career. “I’ll go on tour one more time throughout my whole life and that’s it,” he added. NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Knicks are going to open both of their title defenses against LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers. The Knicks will travel to Philadelphia to face the 76ers on Oct. 30 on the opening night of NBA Cup games, the league announced Wednesday. The NBA revealed the schedule for opening night and Christmas on Tuesday, and along with the NBA Cup schedule on Wednesday also announced the national TV schedules for games on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Presidents Day. It will release the entire 2026-27 schedule on Thursday at 3 p.m. EDT. This is the fourth season of the NBA Cup, the league’s in-season tournament. Games in the group stage will be played Oct. 30, Nov. 6, Nov. 13, Nov. 20, Nov. 24, Nov. 25 and Nov. 27, when the Knicks will host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miami Heat. Aug 9 (Reuters) – Hall of Famer Don Nelson, who ⁠won ⁠five NBA titles as a ⁠player and was a three-time Coach of the Year, has died at ​86, his family said on Sunday. Nelson ranks second in NBA history with 1,335 regular-season coaching wins, ‌behind Gregg Popovich, after a 31-year ‌coaching career with the Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and Dallas ⁠Mavericks. He was inducted ⁠into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012. “On Sunday ​morning our beloved husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather Don Nelson peacefully went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family,” his family said in a statement, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein. Don Nelson, the second-winningest coach in NBA history who won five championships as a player with the Boston Celtics, died Sunday. He was 86. Nelson’s death was announced by the Golden State Warriors, one of the teams he coached. They did not release details. Nelson is one of two coaches in NBA history to have at least 250 wins with three different franchises — Milwaukee, Dallas and Golden State — also serving as general manager for all three franchises. He was a three-time coach of the year and made the playoffs 18 times in 31 seasons. He went to the conference finals three times with the Bucks and once with the Mavericks, never winning a title. Nelson introduced what is now known as the point forward, and his up-tempo style of offense created a buzz. It was the Knicks’ first championship win in 53 years, and the jersey set a new record for any piece of Knicks memorabilia. The house’s expert, Brahm Wachter, had estimated it could make in excess of $1 million. Opened on June 30, the sale of finals memorabilia concluded Wednesday, realizing $2.9 million. Tyrese Haliburton, the 2024-25 New York Knicks slayer, was forced to sit out this past NBA season following a devastating achilles injury immediately followed by a horrific bout with shingles.
