The Louisiana-born artist was among a number of high-profile people whom President Donald Trump pardoned last year. He had been sentenced to just under two years in prison on gun-related charges. During an appearance on the Open Thoughts podcast uploaded Tuesday, the 26-year-old rapper — whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden — revealed he has a heart condition and likely just “one or two” albums left in his career. “I’ll go on tour one more time throughout my whole life and that’s it,” he added. YoungBoy did not disclose specifics about his heart condition, but told host Funny Marco that a doctor told him the left side of his heart was swollen.
