CNN ‘Expert’ Says Iranian Suicide Dolphins Going After US Ships

CNN ‘Expert’ Says Iranian Suicide Dolphins Going After US Ships

Americans have been subject to a variety of creative wartime propaganda claims by their government stretching back many decades. From the ‘incubator babies’ hoax of the first Iraq war, to hyping ‘mushroom clouds’ over US cities during the 2nd Iraq War, to Gaddafi ‘mass rape’ allegations through distributing Viagra pills to Libyan troops – there seems to be no end to such bizarre claims out of the D.C. beltway, and the mainstream media is consistently a willing participant in spreading these proven lies. Already we’ve seen some whoppers coming from the same sources on Iran. Even Vice President J.D. Vance, reported to harbor quiet skepticism and doubts about Trump’s Operation Epic Fury, has floated the idea that Tehran could send out terrorists with ‘nuclear suicide vests’. But leave it to the Iranian ‘expert’ pundit class to come up with something even more absurd: suicide bomber dolphins. The below clip was recently aired on CNN, and the MSM channel gave the wild claim an air of credibility, because of course it did… “To give you a …

Why Older Men Are at Higher Risk for Suicide

Why Older Men Are at Higher Risk for Suicide

Robert, 78, did not describe himself as depressed. He said he was “just old.” After retirement, his wife’s death, and a hip fracture that left him unable to drive, his world became smaller. He stopped meeting former colleagues, declined invitations from his daughter, and insisted he did not want to “be a burden.” What looked like ordinary withdrawal from the outside was psychologically more complex: Several foundations of livability were weakening at once. Robert is a fictional composite, but his situation reflects a broader epidemiological pattern. In the United States, men die by suicide far more often than women. Data from the Centers for Disease Control show that in 2023, the suicide rate among males was approximately four times higher than among females. And men aged 75 and older had the highest suicide rate of any age group. The pattern is not unique to the U,S.; male predominance in suicide deaths, especially in later life, has been observed across many high-income countries. A purely diagnostic explanation is necessary but insufficient. Depression, chronic pain, alcohol use, …

Tom Williams | Cq-roll Call, Inc. | Getty Images U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro said Sunday that the alleged White House Correspondents’ Association dinner shooter, Cole Tomas Allen, shot a Secret Service agent as he attempted to storm the Washington Hilton ballroom last weekend. Pirro, speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” said new ballistics evidence showed the agent’s protective vest contained a buckshot pellet from the Mossberg pump action shotgun Allen allegedly carried on the night of the shooting. Allen has been charged by federal prosecutors with attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump in the shooting that left one Secret Service agent shot but uninjured. Prosecutors have also charged Allen with the discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence, but …

Child Advocate Letter Points to DCF Failings as Connecticut House Approves New Oversight

Child Advocate Letter Points to DCF Failings as Connecticut House Approves New Oversight

Just as Connecticut lawmakers prepared to discuss a bill Thursday that would create new oversight for the state Department of Children and Families, the watchdog Office of the Child Advocate released a public letter condemning the quality of casework at the child welfare agency. The letter, which included detailed findings and research, described the apparent suicide last week of a child who died within an hour of asking to be moved into foster care. In that case, according to the letter, “DCF made a decision to leave the child with the parent, indicating that coming into care was not an option.” The Child Advocate called the incident alarming. “In fact, OCA has grown increasingly alarmed at the quality of case practice observed through our reviews of critical incidents and child fatalities, some of which have garnered significant public attention and some of which have not.” The letter said that such decisions are part of a pattern of declining quality of “the most meaningful” elements of casework, with social workers consistently diverging from policy and facing …

The college sweethearts divorced in 1976, but according to Catherine — who was around 5 when her parents split — they remained “best friends.” “I remember watching my mom and dad laugh and tell stories about their college years,” she told Closer magazine in 2023. “It was nice as a teenager to experience that.” Peter Falk would bring both her and her older sister Jackie to movie premieres and set visits, and …

Suicide Clinic Helping Grieving Mother Die Promotes Death-on-Demand Culture

This republished article first appeared in the National Review A grieving mother who is in good health has been accepted for termination by a Swiss suicide clinic. From the New York Post story: A physically healthy British woman heartbroken over the death of her only son is heading to Switzerland to end her own life at an assisted suicide clinic. Wendy Duffy, 56, attempted to take her own life after her son died four years ago — but is soon bound for Switzerland, where assisted suicide is legal, after her application was accepted by a clinic, according to the London Times. Duffy, a former care worker from the West Midlands, told the Daily Mail that she paid Pegasos, a Swiss assisted-dying nonprofit organization, $13,500 to euthanize herself under its care, saying suicide is the only way her “spirit can be free.” Thirteen grand! A lot of money is being made by Swiss suicide clinics accommodating the death desires of despairing people. Suicide is becoming romanticized: She’s already chosen what she will wear on her deathbed and told the Daily Mail that Lady …

RFK Jr. Calls Assisted Suicide Laws ‘Abhorrent’

RFK Jr. Calls Assisted Suicide Laws ‘Abhorrent’

This republished article first appeared in the National Review. Assisted suicide is not discussed much at the federal level. But at a recent Senate committee hearing, Senator James Lankford (R., Okla.) asked HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about his thoughts on assisted suicide. Kennedy was unequivocal (starting at minute 3:30): Langford: I want to switch to an issue we have not had a lot of time to talk about and that is assisted suicide. We now have three states, California, Colorado, and Vermont that disability groups are filing against some of the assisted suicide laws because it seems to target those with disabilities and the Americans with Disabilities Act passed in 1990, that act has worked to protect those with disabilities, not incentivize them to take their own life. And so, this is an ongoing conversation on this and I think my question for you today . . . what is HHS doing to protect those with disabilities that may be targeted by those assisted suicide laws? Kennedy: To me, I think those laws …
