This is the moment a brawl erupted in Birmingham city centre following a planned demonstration over the Iranian conflict over the weekend.

One youth is chased before a melee takes hold in front of shocked families at around 3.50pm on Saturday, March 21.

Four boys – aged between 14 and 16 years – were later arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

A zombie knife was recovered and was being analysed. It was understood the weapon was not used.
Now police have issued an update about the incident.
A police spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: “All four (teenagers) have been released on police bail while our investigation continues.”
Over the weekend, a WMP spokesperson said: “We’re continuing to review footage and liaise with security staff who were present after a planned demonstration had finished in the area a short time earlier.
