This year’s Golden Globes have already been dished out, with the Oscar nominees for 2026 already announced, which means it’s time to start getting ready for the biggest night in British cinema.
We’re now just shy of four weeks away from this year’s Baftas, with the contenders for the night’s top prizes being announced on Tuesday night.
After a strong showing throughout awards season, One Battle After Another is leading the way with a hefty 14 nominations, just ahead of Sinners’ 13 and the respectable 11 for Hamnet and Marty Supreme, the latter of which has been shown a lot more love by Bafta voters than other awards bodies so far this year.
Given that the Baftas often prioritise British stars and filmmakers, there was also a strong showing for 2025 hits I Swear and Pillion, too.
Which stars and films have been nominated for Baftas in 2026?
Here’s the full list of nominees that have been announced so far, and make sure you keep checking back, as we’ll be updating our list as more categories are revealed…
