Fly-tipper caught repeatedly turning town into ‘personal dumping ground’

A serial fly-tipper was caught on dashcam and CCTV repeatedly turning Gloucester into his ”own personal dumping ground”. John Sheridan received a 30-week jail sentence suspended for two years. In addition to the suspended prison sentence, Sheridan was ordered to complete up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days under the supervision of the Probation Service. He was also ordered to pay £1,000 costs and a victim surcharge of £187. A council spokesperson said Sheridan had repeatedly blighted the city and fly-tipped his rubbish in broad daylight.
