Prince Louis‘s eighth birthday video on Thursday gave us a rare insight into the Waleses’s family life – and also revealed the young prince’s current favourite hobbies.  Prince William And Kate‘s youngest child was seen making sandcastles, jumping off a boat, and playing cricket on a recent family holiday in Cornwall.   Fans soon speculated that Louis may have inherited his love of the sport from his grandfather, Michael Middleton, who is also known to love cricket. Louis and Michael are often said to look like each other – but it appears they have even more in common than that! One royal watcher wrote on social media: “This is so cute because Mike Tindall mentioned that Michael Middleton loves cricket. Happy birthday, Prince Louis! The Prince and Princess of Wales’ youngest son turns eight on 23 April 2026, and what an eight years of joy it has been for the royal couple. As the youngest of three (William and Kate are also parents to 12-year-old Prince George and 10-year-old Princess Charlotte), it is a rare occasion for Prince Louis to join his parents on royal engagements. King Charles has held many titles over his lifetime, one of his proudest being grandfather. The British monarch, affectionately known as Grandpa Wales, became a first-time grandparent in 2013 with the birth of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ son Prince George.  Charles gushed in a statement at the time that he was “overjoyed at the arrival” of his first grandchild. Meanwhile, Queen Camilla remarked that her husband was “brilliant with children, so he’ll have a wonderful time.”  The King has since welcomed four additional grandchildren: Prince William and Catherine’s daughter Princess Charlotte and their younger son Prince Louis, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. According to HELLO!‘s Royal Editor Emily Nash, “The King is close to all of the Wales children and regularly meets up with them at Windsor on Sundays.” Prince William has praised his father as a “brilliant” grandfather. **Warning – contains full spoilers for the DTF St Louis finale.** All seven episodes of DTF St Louis are available for streaming on HBO Max, Sky Atlantic and NOW, with the cathartic conclusion of Steven Conrad’s American dark comedy miniseries now revealed. The show follows the lives of three adults, Clark (Jason Bateman), Carol (Linda Cardellini) and Floyd (David Harbour), who find themselves embroiled in a love triangle in an attempt to escape suburban discontent through a dating app named DTF St Louis. Following many tense twists and turns, Floyd is found dead in a pool locker room. And after six episodes of pinballing viewers between different theories and suspects, the show lands on a more quietly painful note as it is revealed that there was in fact no killer – Floyd died by suicide after purposely ingesting the lethal Bloody Mary. The grubbiness of romantic jealousy on which the show centres here seems to fade away as a deeper emotional truth emerges, with creator Conrad telling Variety: “I would hope that the audience has …
