Onnit’s Instant Melatonin Spray Keeps Bedtime Uncomplicated

Onnit’s Instant Melatonin Spray Keeps Bedtime Uncomplicated

I’ve always approached taking melatonin supplements with skepticism. They seem to help every once in a while, but your brain is already making melatonin. Beyond that, I am not a fan of the sickly-sweet tablets, gummies, and other forms of melatonin I’ve come across. No one wants a bad taste in their mouth when they’re supposed to be drifting off to sleep. This is where Onnit’s Instant Melatonin Spray comes in. Fellow WIRED reviewer Molly Higgins first gave it a go, and reported back favorably. This spray comes in two flavors, lavender and mint, and is sweetened with stevia. While I wouldn’t consider it a gourmet taste, I appreciate that it leans more into herbal components known for sleep and relaxation. Photograph: Molly Higgins Onnit Instant Melatonin Mist Keep in mind that melatonin is meant to be a sleep aid, not a cure-all. That being said, one serving of this spray has 3 milligrams of melatonin, which takes about six pumps to dispense. While 3 milligrams may not seem like a lot to really kickstart …

I Let Google’s ‘Auto Browse’ AI Agent Take Over Chrome. It Didn’t Quite Click

When I was finally able to experiment with Auto Browse (for real this time) I took Google’s suggestions of digital chores as my starting point and picked online tasks that could be helpful in my own life. Whenever interacting with generative AI tools, a healthy sense of skepticism—and caution—is critical. Google even includes a disclaimer baked into its Gemini chatbot reminding users that it makes mistakes. The Auto Browse tool goes a step further. “Use Gemini carefully and take control if needed,” reads persistent text that shows in the chatbot sidebar every time Auto Browse is running. “You are responsible for Gemini’s actions during tasks.” Before you try it out, you also need to think about the security risks associated with this kind of automation. Generative AI tools are vulnerable to being compromised through prompt injection attacks on malicious websites. These attacks attempt to divert the bot from its task. The potential vulnerabilities in Google’s Auto Browse have not been fully examined by outside researchers, but the risks may be similar to other AI tools …

Take an Extra $50 Off My Favorite Mattress With This Code

I’m a picky person when it comes to mattresses. Of the hundreds I’ve tested over my career as a certified sleep coach and mattress tester, I have a short list of ones that have exceeded my expectations. At the top of my list is the Nolah Evolution, with the distinct honor of being the mattress I personally own. Given my job, that’s got to be like the equivalent of a Grammy or Emmy in the mattress world. Photograph: Julia Forbes Rapidly approaching Presidents’ Day is one of the best mattress sales weekends of the year (and I do mean best—keep your eyes peeled on WIRED.com for more of our sales coverage). If your current mattress isn’t holding up well and is wreaking havoc on your sleep, this is the time to do something about it. Sleep deprivation can only last for so long before something gives, and you don’t want it to be your sanity. Nolah is currently running a pretty solid promotion, offering 35 percent off site-wide through Jan. 19. But let’s sweeten the …

How Much Melatonin Should You Be Taking? (2026)

How Much Melatonin Should You Be Taking? (2026)

Two things I always watch for with supplements, even with guidance from my doctor: Does it have a CGMP certification, and is there any data to back up the marketing claims? CGMP stands for “Current Good Manufacturing Process,” which are FDA guidelines put in place for a product’s safety. This includes where and how it was made, as well as what it was made of. But even with this kind of baseline, it’s hard to tell what additives are used in a supplement and how that can counteract its effects or react with your body chemistry. So, Can I Take Melatonin or Not? I tell you these things out of an abundance of caution. If your doctor gives you the go-ahead to use melatonin, follow their advice. Kuhlmann says he advises his patients to start at 3 milligrams but to never take more than 10 milligrams. For kids, he also urges speaking to a pediatrician and/or a sleep medical professional. Melatonin also can’t do all the heavy lifting, and timing is crucial. As part of …

8 Best Plant-Based Meal Delivery Services and Kits (2025), Tested, Tasted, and Reviewed

Compare Our Picks Others Tested Courtesy of Sakara Life Sakara Life; starts at $141 per week; up to $465 for specialty programs: This plant-based, gluten-free meal kit reminds me of what most people think when they think of “crunchy” vegan food—raw vegetables with an earthy taste. Nearly all meals in Sakara’s lineup are uncooked and preprepared—items like veggie burgers are without buns, lasagnas are “deconstructed.” For example, a “Lavender Quesadilla” has broccoli pesto and cashew “cheese” with hibiscus salsa … you get the idea. The menu is curated each week, and meals come in single servings. Sakara also has health supplements (which can be scientifically dubious), like a metabolism booster and fulvic acid cell reset. Sakara’s signature nutrition program meal plan is designed to replace all meals and is delivered twice weekly. If you buy one week of five days, three meals a day, it’s $465 per week; weekly subscriptions of five days, three meals a day, is $395 per week; prices go down to $141 per week with a 12-week subscription for three days …
