Tesco Clubcard shoppers can triple the value of their hard earned points at more than 800 locations across the UK.

Normally, Clubcard points are worth 1p each, so 100 points is equal to a £1 spend in-store or online. But it’s possible to double the value of these points by exchanging them for vouchers to spend at more than 100 of Tesco’s Reward partners. When points are exchanged with a Reward Partner, one point is worth 2p instead of 1p, so 100 points would give you £2 to spend – double the amount than if you simply used your points in Tesco supermarkets. But it’s possible for shoppers to make their points go even further and get triple the value with a select few Reward Partners.

At the major restaurant chains, which include Frankie & Benny’s, PizzaExpress, Zizzi and ASK Italian, every 50p will give you £1.50 to spend when dining in, allowing you to triple your voucher value.

So if you have £5 worth of Clubcard vouchers, these will be worth £15 to spend in the eligible restaurant chains, while £10 worth of vouchers would equate to a £30 spend.

Until recently, points were previously only worth double their value at these restaurants, but Tesco has now increased this to triple the rate, giving shoppers more bang for their buck.

There are approximately 832 branches of the seven restaurant chains across the UK where Tesco Clubcard points can be exchanged for triple their value. The chains include:

• ASK Italian (67 locations)
• Bella Italia (at least 70 locations)
• Frankie & Benny’s (54 locations)
• Las Iguanas (54 locations)
• PizzaExpress (at least 360 locations)
• Prezzo Italian (95 locations)
• Zizzi (at least 132 locations)

Other restaurants still remain at the double value rate, including BrewDog Bars, Cafe Rouge, Chef & Brewer and Hungry Horse pubs.

Commenting on the deal, MoneySavingExpert (MSE) said: “There’s a range of restaurants to choose from, and at 3x value it’s a good swap to boost a family meal out – but only if no other decent deals are available for that restaurant as Clubcard vouchers can’t be used on top.”

To exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers for triple their value, simply select one of the seven partner restaurants in the “Rewards” section of the Tesco Clubcard app or website, select exchange vouchers for a code, and then redeem it to spend.
