For years I have struggled with allergies, whether that be hay fever or dust, there’s always something making me feel a little bit off.

I would wake up in the mornings thinking I had a cold, it’s so bad. I knew I had to change something up a little bit as it was becoming pretty unbearable. My flat is quite large and is all wooden floors, which is a total dust trap. So I realised recently that the time had come to get a new vacuum cleaner.

The one that I had was old, didn’t really suck things up properly and would always get dust and hair balls stuck in it (lovely, I know). I knew that couldn’t really be doing anything good for me.

Why invest in a new vacuum?

I decided on this because I needed something powerful that would get the job done. I needed something that would change the game for me.

Why is the Shark worth it?

The first time I even turned it on I couldn’t believe how high-tech it was. It has a blue dirt light attached to the end so you can really see every corner. I was horrified at first because clearly my old vacuum hadn’t been doing a very good job, as the place was covered in dust, despite getting regularly cleaned.

What I also found cool was it detects what type of floor you are on and adapts the power so it either speeds up or slows down, also depending on how dirty the area is. Cool, right?! It did all of the work for me, I just had to turn it on.

Did I also mention that it can actually properly bend!? So getting everywhere is no longer an issue at all.

It also comes with a bin attached to it, so the bin of the vacuum auto-empties when you pop it back on the stand, meaning you don’t have to the empty the bin yourself every single time you clean.

After a few weeks of consistency, I could feel a difference in my allergy symptoms. They were far less severe and I felt that they had actually become a little bit more manageable. Which is a huge win! 

Would I recommend it?

100% yes. Instant yes, no thoughts necessary. I can promise you that it will be super beneficial, even if you aren’t an allergy sufferer. It makes my flat feel super clean, cleaner than it’s felt for a while! 

As someone who values keeping my space clean, I’m now not sure I could ever live without this! What did I do beforehand!?

I can safely say that this vacuum is worth every single penny.
