Lambrook – the school George has been attending since 2022 – only teaches children up to the age of 13. George’s siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are likely to stay at Lambrook until they also reach the age of 13 and take the next step in their educational journey. Kensington Palace is yet to confirm what school George will move to, however, it is likely to be a boarding school.
It has been rumoured that the school of choice could be the nearby Eton College in Windsor, which was the school George’s father, Prince William, attended.
Other schools that George could potentially attend are Marlborough College – the boarding school his mum, Princess Catherine, attended – or Oundle School.
These schools, unlike Eton, teach both boys and girls, meaning that Princess Charlotte, when she moves school, will be able to attend the same school as her older brother.
It is not known when Kensington Palace will confirm which school George will next attend.
It was previously claimed that the announcement would be made during the summer holidays.
It is likely George will board at his next school, which will be a major change for the family, who have always lived together under the same roof.
