The streets of Monaco were abuzz with excitement. On Sunday the 83rd Monaco Grand Prix Formula One race drew an international list of notable names to the country, including Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Alexandra Leclerc, and newlyweds Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson.
The thrills began on Saturday, when the surprise arrival of Kim Kardashian caused a number of flashbulbs on the pit lane to explode. The celebrity, in a relationship with British driver Lewis Hamilton, watched the qualifying sessions from the Ferrari garage, appearing on the terrace alongside her sister Khloe and not far from Alexandra Leclerc, wife of Charles Leclerc and Albert of Monaco, who had come to support the Monegasque driver—his victory in 2024 had moved the Prince to tears—and to visit race management on the eve of the conclusion of the principality’s biggest event of the year.
Andrea Casiraghi and his wife Tatiana Santo Domingo, Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo, as well as Charlotte Casiraghi, Camille Gottlieb, Louis and Marie Ducruet and Alexandra de Hanovre were all in the paddocks by Saturday. In the evening, a small Monegasque family reunion took place aboard the Tag Heuer yacht: Alexandre Grimaldi, Louis Ducruet and Alexandra de Hanovre all attended the party on the harbour, with a set by DJ Kaytranada.
Earlier in the weekend, AS Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba had also made the trip to see the race behind the scenes, for his first Grand Prix as a Monegasque.
There were even more celebrities on Sunday, the day of the race. Actresses Olivia Wilde and Cynthia Erivo, as well as athletes Lindsey Vonn and Olivier Giroud, were photographed in the paddocks as the start approached. Hot rod enthusiast Michael Douglas also made the trip to the principality, wife Catherine Zeta-Jones was at his side.
Before the start of the race, Donald Trump Jr. enjoyed a guided tour of the pits with his wife Bettina Anderson. It was a first public appearance for the newlyweds, who said “I do” in an intimate ceremony in the Bahamas on May 23. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe roamed the circuit in high heels and under heavy security.
Before the drivers took to the track, Prince Albert and his son, Hereditary Prince Jacques, took a lap of honor in a Lafitte LM1, a ritual they enjoy every year. Princess Charlène of Monaco, dressed in a flowing white jumpsuit, watched from the edge of the runway.
