Jane Seymour offered fans a rare and deeply personal glimpse into her family life this week, sharing a heartwarming video from an unforgettable evening hosted at her breathtaking beachfront Malibu mansion.
The former Bond girl, 75, welcomed guests to her stunning oceanfront home for the annual Open Hearts Foundation Gala, transforming the elegant property into a glittering setting filled with candlelight, music and an unmistakable sense of purpose. By her side were her children, making the evening all the more special as the actress celebrated both family and philanthropy in one meaningful moment.
Radiant and full of warmth, Jane appeared alongside her four children, Katherine, 44, Sean, 40, and twin sons Kristopher and John, 30, as well as her stepdaughter Jenni, with whom she remains close. The video captured a series of intimate, joy-filled moments, from embraces and laughter to quiet reflections, offering a rare look at the close-knit bond they share.
But beyond the glamour of the night, it was Jane’s heartfelt caption that struck a chord. “Last night’s Open Hearts Foundation Gala was a beautiful, joyful, and deeply meaningful evening,” she wrote. “I’m still beaming with gratitude for all the love in the room, for the generosity of spirit, and for the many people who came together in support of something so important.”
For Jane, the foundation holds a deeply personal significance. Established in honour of her late mother, it champions compassion, connection and giving back, values that clearly remain at the centre of her life.
“I couldn’t help but think of my mother and how proud she would be to see the legacy of compassion, connection, and giving that continues through this foundation” she continued. “Her belief that we are strongest when we lift one another lives on in every part of this work.”
The evening brought together not only friends and supporters, but also a celebration of her family’s own journeys. Katherine, whose father is Jane’s former husband David Flynn, has carved out a career in film and television, having appeared in The Suteur and Perfectly Prudence, and recently stepping behind the camera to direct the short film Townes. She also has a role in the upcoming miniseries Glow And Darkness. Her brother Sean, also David’s son, has built a creative career as a photographer and director.
Jane’s twin sons, Kristopher and John, whose father is actor and director James Keach, have largely stayed out of the spotlight but remain a central part of her world. Jane was married to James from 1993 until their divorce in 2012, while her earlier marriage to businessman David Flynn lasted from 1981 to 1992.
The video reflected not just a glamorous gathering, but a family united in support of something bigger than themselves. Jane took time to thank everyone involved in bringing the gala to life, from attendees and donors to volunteers, sponsors and the foundation’s inspiring grantees.
“Your generosity, your time, and your belief in this mission make it possible for us to keep helping so many” she shared.
“So much good can happen when people come together with open hearts,” she concluded.
