The Prince and Princess of Wales were red-carpet ready on Tuesday evening, stepping out together for the star-studded Digger premiere in London. The royal couple wowed the crowds arriving at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square with Prince William sporting a velvet suit jacket and Princess Kate living up to her title in a Princess-worthy outfit – a floor-skimming purple grown.
The royals were reunited with their friend, Tom Cruise, who stars in the film. Tom was one of the first to arrive at the premiere, hours before the royals looking suave in a tuxedo with a pair of sunglasses on. The actor took his time to pose by giant graphics and props, ensuring everyone got a good picture. Speaking about the royals before they arrived, Tom told reporters: “I just love them. They are lovely people and I have great respect for them.”

Earlier in the morning, Prince William served up popcorn at the ActOne community cinema in Acton, London. He even tried to access the membership system to help customers but failed. “It’s not my first till but it’s my first time on this system!, he said. Adding: “I’m going to let the professionals take over, I don’t want you to miss it.”
Ahead of the appearance, William was quizzed about his uncle, Earl Spencer’s book, Swan Song: Diana, my sister, but he chose to ignore the question from the crowd.
As he walked up the steps of the ActOne community cinema in Acton, William was asked: “Sir, how do you feel about your uncle’s book?” Another person asked: “Have you read it?”
The Prince did not answer and entered the cinema, where he spent around an hour meeting young filmmakers and representatives from the Film and TV charity.
