As his beloved Knicks continue to romp through the NBA playoffs,Timothée Chalamet has been stirring up some serious style noise from his courtside seat. There’s been his steady rotation of advanced streetwear and Chrome Hearts rarities—his look from Tuesday’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals elicited a “daddy” IG comment from Kylie Jenner—to say nothing of his much-discussed grooming evolution.
But even between his Madison Square Garden appearances, the Oscar nominee still found his way into the menswear conversation. On Wednesday, Chalamet posted a mirror selfie dressed in a pretty typical off-duty summer fit: white tank top, beaded necklace, white Adidas Stan Smiths, and a blue-brimmed cap from Nahmias, the brand behind his mega-viral Marty Supreme jacket from last December. His one big swerve, however? A pair of frayed-hem, capri-length sweatpants from KHY, his partner Jenner’s clothing label.
While KHY mainly specializes in womenswear, many of its offerings—including the “Venice” long shorts Timmy sported—are technically unisex, so this wasn’t quite the exercise in borrowing from the girls some internet onlookers made it out to be. Instead, it felt more like just a savvy move from a supportive significant other: the exact shorts Chalamet wore were sold out on KHY’s website in several sizes by the end of the day. It might also be a bellwether for where we stand for 2026 in the eternal debate over proper short length, as cropped shirts continue to trend among men and hemlines keep lowering in response.
If Chalamet were to ever truly raid Kylie’s wardrobe, however, we’d be all for it. It’d be incredible for the guy who once gave us a backless jumpsuit in Venice to rock a going-out top at a playoff game.
