Michelle Keegan showed off her daring side on Wednesday, taking to Instagram to show off her new tattoo. The actress, who has always appeared to be tattoo-free, took to social media to share an up-close image of her feet. On the heels were the subtle markings of her dogs’ names – Phoebe and Pip. Pip is a Chihuahua, and Phoebe is a Dachshund.

The star shared a fashion-forward image of her new inkings, which looked suitably chic, nestled next to her bronze YSL high heels.

Michelle, 39, also shared the moment that she actually had the tattoo etched onto her feet – lying on a bed in a tattoo shop. Husband Mark was also present, appearing to look through a catalogue of tattoos. Could the former TOWIE star have taken the plunge, too?

Birthday girl

Michelle celebrated her birthday last week and appeared to spend her birthday weekend in London, sharing various pictures of her stay at her favourite hotel, The Corinthia. 

Michelle often stays in the stunning establishment, which is a stone’s throw away from the Southbank.

The Manchester-born actress uploaded a sultry snap of herself in the hotel’s health facilities, showing fans her new swimsuit, which was designed in a sumptuous chocolate shade and had gold detail at the bust.

Proud husband Mark took to Instagram to share a series of photos alongside his beautiful wife, including some from the early days of their relationship. One snap that caught our attention was a photo of Michelle cradling their little girl, baby Palma, whom they welcomed last year.

Captioning the photos, Mark penned: “It’s your day, Baby. A year away from the big 4.0, but don’t look a day over 21. You’re too modest to realise how much of a special person you are, but what you do for us and everyone around you is more than you’ll ever realise. Love you, Darling M&P.” 

In the aforementioned snap, Michelle and Palma were matching in white, looking out to sea while standing on what appeared to be the balcony of a cruise ship. Facing away from the camera, Michelle’s trademark brunette locks blew in the sea breeze. 

The comments section was filled with messages from the star’s friends and family who couldn’t wait to rush in with happy birthday messages for the Fool Me Once star.
